Welcome to Amplify mCLASS!

Every student is an individual. Based on over 30 years of research, mCLASS® is the gold-standard assessment and instructional suite for early literacy that helps every child learn to read confidently.

mCLASS is an integrated, gold standard literacy system based on the science of reading that offers teacher-administered assessment and holistic instruction for grades K–6.

We’ve created resources to help meet your unique needs this school year. This site is designed to help you become familiar with the program and to guide you through initial preparation for implementing Amplify in your classrooms..

Remote and Hybrid Learning Support

We know that this may be another challenging year for teachers, students, and caregivers alike. As your partner in education, we want to equip you and your learners with the tools to excel and assess progress, whether in the classroom part-time or learning fully-remote from home.

Here are some resources to continue to assess and remain focused on a rich, quality, and reliable learning experience—even during these times that your class environment may be inconsistent:

  • Remote mCLASS site: The Remote mCLASS website provides guidance for assessing your students’ instructional needs, whether assessment is taking place in-person or remotely. This resource includes general instructional guidance for DIBELS and Acadiance Benchmark and remote one-on-one administration.
    • mCLASS: Assign online assessments: When using mCLASS remotely, you have the option to assign online assessments to individuals, groups, or the entire class. This short video explains how.
  • Skill Maps: For grades K–1, these interactive maps focus on the main three strands of basic early literacy. This information allows you to access activities based on a student’s current literacy skills.
  • mCLASS Home Connect: Activities that provide caregivers with resources to help students practice important literacy skills at home.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question: Why are there students missing from my class roster?
If a student(s) doesn’t appear on your class roster, they were most likely missing from the roster data provided by your district during the enrollment process. Please contact your district administrator to request that the student(s) be added.

Question: Why do I see only a blank page – nothing appears to load – when trying to access an Amplify program page (like learning.amplify.com)?
A blank screen is often a sign that the website is being blocked by a school’s content filter. Please check with your IT group to confirm that the URLs on this page have been allowed for your district network. Alternatively, check to ensure “cookies” are accepted on your device.
