Using Boost Math too?
Your mCLASS Math data helps you identify what students need. Boost Math helps you put those insights into action.
Using assessment evidence from mCLASS Math, Boost Math recommends students for one of two instructional pathways: Intervention or Practice. Together, the pathways provide differentiated support through teacher-led intervention and targeted student practice.

Your Boost Math getting-started checklist
We recommend starting by reviewing the clickable Boost Math walkthrough and Teacher Guide to preview the teacher and student experience. Then, use this checklist to get started:
- Students complete the relevant mCLASS Math assessment.
- Review pathway recommendations for the upcoming topic.
- You know your students best, so you can review and adjust recommendations as needed.
- Establish your classroom rotation.
- Decide when students will participate in teacher-led intervention, independent digital practice, or collaborative activities.
- Approve pathway recommendations and launch student work.
- Once recommendations are reviewed and approved, students can begin working through their assigned pathway.
Each pathway includes a mix of learning experiences designed to fit the time available—whether you have a 40-minute intervention block or a 20-minute window.
For Grades K-5, we recommend using Boost Math for a 40-minute block three times per week. However, how you structure that time may vary based on your classroom routines and your school or district’s implementation model.
